Full Job Description
Citizens Advice East Hampshire is looking for a new Treasurer to join the trustee board of the small but professional organisation providing advice and support to the public in housing, debt, benefits and other issues. Our advice is free and independent and over the past few years, we have become an essential service to those in most need locally. We help around 7,500 clients per year with 12,000 different issues. Our team of 17 staff (mostly part time) and 65 volunteers operationally deliver our work but the organisation is supported by the national Citizens Advice charity of which we are a member. Our trustee board of professional and committed local people strategically leads the organisation. The Treasurer is a key role providing financial oversight and reporting to the Board on financial matters relevant to the charity.
