We're looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Environment Team. You will lead on all tree works and their management across the Borough's parks and green spaces, responding to tree-related queries and ensuring the health and sustainability of our trees. The role is primarily based at our Kimberley Depot, although you will be expected to travel across the Borough (designated driver status is assigned to this role). • Proven experience in tree management and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of tree species, health assessments and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with residents and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate would:
• Hold a relevant qualification in arboriculture.
• Demonstrates a passion for environmental conservation.
• Has experience in managing tree-related projects and works collaboratively within a team.
• Possesses strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Is proficient in using digital tools for reporting and record keeping.
