Full Job Description

We are seeking an individual who is positive and enthusiastic and wants to support our mission of transforming children's lives through a world-class education. The Trust Student Support Officer (Attendance) works in partnership with academies to support children and their families, putting the child first when school attendance is a concern. You will be based in a designated Secondary Academy (0.5), and allocated Primary Academies (0.5). You will work alongside relevant academy staff members to contribute to raising achievement by improving student attendance and managing attendance case work. The postholder will accurately maintain pupil attendance records within strict deadlines, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and will monitor student attendance and initiate appropriate action as required in line with Trust policies.
