Full Job Description

The sessions will focus on low-intensity, calm, and engaging academic mentoring in English and Maths. The tutor will also weave in enjoyable projects to enhance engagement. Over time, the aim is to facilitate the students engagement during school, making the tutor an essential part of this plan.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate tutor to provide personalised support to Year 10 Student/s with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs., Essential:

A DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

OR extensive SEN HLTA or ELSA experience

Experience:

Working with learners with additional needs, particularly SEMH

Supporting academic progress in Maths and English

Preferred:

A driving licence (please indicate if you do not have one)

Flexibility and patience to adapt to the learner's needs
