We are looking to recruit a UK Procurement Category Manager responsible for the growing and challenging Development needs and activities within the ISP-S Team., You will need to be strategic in your approach, leading through a Multi-Functional Team but able to step in to lead at a senior level. You should have good Procurement experience in a similar environment but ideally a similar category. You should have strong influencing skills, demonstrate a history of great collaboration as well as strong commercial attention to detail. You will be working as a senior member of the ISP-S team within the UK supporting the delivery of this complex category.

• Ideally CIPS qualified but as a minimum should be able to demonstrate a very good level of professional procurement rigour and academic capability.
• Should able to demonstrate a significant level of depth and breadth in Procurement strategic and operational experience
• A very goal orientated individual with strong cultural awareness, excellent team building capabilities who is capable of taking key strategic decisions.
• Excellent analytical/Excel capabilities and ideally experience of SAP.
• Ideally will have some experience of developing new capability through then Supply Chain and procurement within this Category

Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working: Minimum 2 days per week on-site Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
