Full Job Description
This role will play a pivotal part in developing and executing UK specific strategic sales initiatives, in line with the devised SNAP strategy.
UK Sales Manager - Competitive salary + OTE +Car
Reporting to : UK Head of commercial
Fleet Management / logistics or transport Industry experience desirable
Field / Remote based with monthly visits to Norwich.
Direct reports : 4
The will include developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and solidify our presence in the marketplace, achieving sales and margin growth through hitting sales targets by successfully managing sales teams and by assessing the teams strengths and weaknesses, establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts, building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with them, developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics and providing reports of field sales success and communicating the pipeline and outcomes to the executive management team.
The role holder will bring a combination of strong leadership sales and team management skills with the ability to create a healthy sales culture, and a passion for developing and empowering a successful sales team to thrive and exceed on their respective targets.
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organisational goals to drive revenue growth, margin enhancement and market expansion.
Foster and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key fleets, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty is always maintained.
Provide bespoke reports on progress against agreed KPI's & sales teams targets, as per the required frequency and / or on reasonable request.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify, develop and deploy bespoke strategies for unique selling propositions and differentiators to be enabled.
Through self and teams, prospect new clients, and report on success pipeline, including a qualified probability and time lined matrix outcome of such prospects.
Positively work with existing fleets to maintain, enhance and leverage increased volumes through strategic value-add initiatives as a true business partner.
Attend / run regular sales strategy enhancement meetings and play an active part in future planning and development of the team and the business.
Act as the business knowledge specialist to share best practice amongst the teams for the converting of warm leads into direct sales through an informed sales approach.
Drive new, fun incentives which are engaging and create healthy competition culture amongst the teams.
Working collaboratively with the Certas Fuelcard team to drive additional margin, along with engaging with relevant stake holders for Fuelcard account management.
Using existing prospective data provided by SNAP, creating and ensuring the execution of individual sales campaigns for each Sales Account Manager.
Monitoring and reporting on sales productivity to include the hygiene factors of :
Conversion rates : For new fleet sign ups
Upselling
Deep dives additional revenue
Non transacting
Reopening of accounts
New Fuel card customers
Driving additional revenue for Fuelcard customers
Involvement in key prospective negotiations with fleets to close significant opportunities for SNAP
Reporting and monitoring of current and new business progress and productivity by team member and country
Reporting of KPI's / outbound calls
Consistent monitoring, on a country-by-country basis, of the financial performance of the Sales team portfolios. Ensure that corrective action is undertaken by the team to address any performance shortfalls
Create a strategy by working closely with the SNAP Marketing team for incremental margin improvement opportunities through targeted marketing and sales campaigns with an aim to accelerate the achievement of financial targets
Conduct deep dives to customers actively offering rebates to encourage additional revenue.
Support EU team in utilising new EU Service partners.
Source creditable data for the Sales team to prospect.
Report on campaign success
Driving licence essential.
