In Digital, we set the agenda to keep IKEA leading in a fast-moving environment. We develop, provide, and operate digital products and services using new and existing technology and agile methods to deliver at pace. We also nurture digital skills to ensure continuous growth. As a Technology Project Leader, you'll partner with business functions, work with local and central teams, and lead or support new product launches or major changes/ transformations, creating ongoing value for the UK and Ireland markets.,

  • Plan and Manage: Oversee digital initiatives to ensure successful launches, managing risks, issues, and reporting.
  • Collaborate: Bring together cross-functional teams for successful launches.
  • Ensure Readiness: Identify and manage key dependencies for launch readiness.
  • Assess Gaps: Lead gap assessments with product teams.
  • Support and Test: Work with product teams to support requirements and test scenarios.
  • Build Relationships: Develop strong business relationships, lead digital planning sessions, and ensure the UK IE's voice is heard in product roadmap design.
  • Improve Continuously: Drive continuous improvement in ways of working.

    We need a capable individual with excellent interpersonal skills to build trustful relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Specifically, we're looking for:
  • Project Delivery Expertise: Understanding of project delivery in a matrix organization.
  • Change Management Focus: Appreciation of change management and lasting value realization.
  • Relationship Building: Experience in building credible relationships and influencing management and leadership teams.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to apply data and metrics to measure outcomes and help teams visualize results.
  • Global Experience: Experience working in a matrix or complex global environment, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and influencing skills.

    Position Details:
  • Full-Time: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Location: Minimum 8 days per month in the Wembley Service Office, the rest remote.
  • Salary: Competitive Starting Salary from: £50,000.00 plus full IKEA benefits package
