Full Job Description
The role is one where you will be representing our clients who have suffered out of pocket expenses as a result of a road traffic accident. Bringing a claim against the Defendant for damages using Court proceedings as and when required. The successful candidate will deal with a caseload of claims in which the other driver is disputing liability in full or in part for the accident from the commencement of the claim, up to issuing court proceedings (if required). This can be a difficult time for our clients and therefore you will be there from the start of their claim, reassuring and empathising with them. Aside from investigating the accident circumstances, you may be responsible for the investigation of our client's claim for out-of-pocket expenses. Your role will involve gathering all the required evidence in respect of their losses and presenting them to the Defendant for full recovery. With your own caseload, you'll advise your clients on the best course of action. In this fast-paced role, you'll effectively manage and progress your own caseload using our in-house case management system (and in line with our SLAs), keeping clients informed of progress every step of the way.,
- Proactively review accident circumstances and any relevant case law
- Assess and investigate liability
- Review financial losses
- Advise clients in respect of liability and quantum

It goes without saying that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, not to mention an unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding client care. We would like to hear from those people who have a genuine interest in law and be willing to learn new skills and approaches to tasks. Numeracy, literacy and IT skills are vital. Whilst you will be supported in your role, you will need to be able to manage your time effectively, ensuring adherence with service level agreements and deadlines. Being able to prioritise your work in what can be a busy environment will be essential.
