Job description

The successful applicant will join the team as a full-time CNC Milling Machinist to produce precision engineered components from detailed specifications. Machining mainly 1 off and small batch components and working to tight tolerances and deadlines.

You will preferably be a time-served or apprentice-trained machinist who is able to demonstrate evidence of the following:

  • Setting and operating CNC machining centres
  • Machining one-off and small batch components
  • Working to tight tolerances and deadlines
  • Joining an expert team, you must be able to interpret engineering drawings
  • Competent to program and set CNC Milling Machines
  • Heidenhain/Solidworks/Camworks experience desirable.
  • Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment and check own work.
  • Work on your own initiative
  • Have completed a Time Served apprenticeship

Hours of Work

The role is full time based on our standard 40 hours working Monday to Friday 6am -2pm or 2pm - 10pm rotating weekly.
