Unit Manager - Ocean Suite - Internal Applicants Only

This is an internal opportunity for an LED team member to take the lead at Ocean Suite & Events, a premier venue for weddings, corporate functions, live entertainment, and community celebrations. If you're passionate about events and ready to step into management, we encourage you to apply., As Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, operations, and marketing to ensure seamless execution and outstanding guest experiences. You will lead a dedicated team, manage budgets, and drive business growth to establish Ocean Suite as the go-to venue for premium events.,

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Ocean Suite, ensuring high standards of service.
• Plan and execute a diverse calendar of events, from weddings and corporate functions to live music and private parties.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Take ownership of financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Work closely with marketing teams to promote events through digital, print, and social media.
• Develop partnerships with local businesses and sponsors to enhance event offerings.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
  
  Proven experience in event, hospitality, or leisure management - at least 18 months in a leadership role.
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences at high-profile events. Strong leadership skills - ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team. Commercial awareness - experience managing financial performance and driving revenue. Excellent communication and organisational skills - confident in decision-making and problem-solving. Commitment to high standards - ensuring full compliance with safety and licensing regulations. DESIRABLE: Hospitality or event management qualification (NVQ, Diploma, or Degree). Experience managing large-scale events, from weddings and corporate functions to live entertainment. Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
