Full Job Description
To Organize the upstream flows with the suppliers and lead the Materials Planning Team, manage staff and resources to constantly improve the outcome and to provide proactive, constructive and customer focussed service. To ensure that all agreed targets and deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of materials management., # Supervise his/her team on daily operations linked to upstream flows management
# Organize the upstream flows with the suppliers to improve the supplier SC performance (ISSR, SOTD).
# Continuously optimize the procurement of components with our suppliers by following the SPS principles (physical and information flows).
# Supporting the team in defining and updating stock parameters to achieve service level objectives while optimizing inventory level.
# Leading the team training and development, continuously improving skills and knowledge
# Support the team in managing the purchase order portfolios, analyse stock discrepancies and perform adjustments when required
# Supervise the team to contribute to the monthly reporting of SOTD and ISSR, and be accountable for all measurable parameters ( Lead-time, Lot sizes, Safety stock levels, Re-order points, MRP messages, overdue orders and order acknowledgements) and ensure the reliability of the measures taken.
# Set and release suppliers forecast and manage logistic terms and conditions. Ensure the update, quality and consistency of key parameters of supply and stock management (ex: Replenishment Lead Time, Quantity, Frequency and Stocking policy)
# Be the first point of escalation for critical SC issues internally and with suppliers till completion
# Responsible for the implementation of rules and principles of management of suppliers.
# Contribute to the optimization of the levels of NIN, GIN, DIN and Unhealthy stock
Be responsible for the supplier forecast and its accuracy
# Supervise upstream team KPIs management including overdue orders, acknowledgements, and material shortages management.
# Coordinate and collaborate with other departments (production, contracts & engineering) to develop inventory forecasts, coverage profiles and proactively report out on variances and potential imbalances.
# Monitor and improve the upstream SC performance
# Develop local supplier's database improvement tools
# Pilot the corrective and preventive actions to solve upstream SC issues of the plant
# Monitor all suppliers' logistic solutions including packaging and incoterms, establish and monitor Contract / Logistic terms & conditions
# Use Lean tools for Supply Chain performance
# Assist in creation of tools and processes designed to improve efficiency and accuracy of inventory reporting
# You will have experience in a similar supply chain role utilizing SAP or similar ERP system & advanced excel, technical background preferred.
# Supervisory experience managing teams is mandatory.
# Enthusiasm, pro-activity, and determination to drive business forward.
