Check out this webpage to find out more about what it takes and the support on offer., An experienced Media Lecturer is required to teach learners at our Bromley campus across all the levels of Media Studies qualifications. Ideally you will need knowledge of BTEC qualifications and have the qualifications and experience to deliver Media - Animation, Gaming and Graphics/ TV, Film and sound/Esports courses. The ideal candidate will also and have experience in and up to date knowledge of the industry.
For this role, you will need to have proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience. You will have achieved a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) and be a qualified FE teacher (or be willing to work towards this).
You will need to have great communication skills - able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups, in an engaging way. You will also need efficient administration skills to support good student record-keeping.
