VAT & Regulatory Reporting Accountant

Your Impact

-You will complete VAT returns for assigned entities and prepare the corresponding paperwork for payment
-You will prepare the related balance sheet reconciliations for VAT & Tax, and the related journals to clear the balance sheet reconciling items
-You will complete Intrastat reporting and other statutory and regulatory reporting
-You will establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors and tax advisors
-You will support the manager with common processes, and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within team

Your Experience and Qualifications

-Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA)
-Practical VAT and intrastat experience in an advisory, tax authority or industry role
-Experience in preparing and reviewing VAT returns including knowledge of overseas legislation and requirements
-Experience in dealing and managing stakeholders remotely
-Ability to work

independently with strong attention to detail
