Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President (VP), reporting to the GVP UKI, to lead our Public Sector team in the UK and Ireland (UKI). This senior leadership role will be responsible for leading direct leaders and an indirect team of 26 professionals. The VP will develop and drive strategic initiatives, foster strong relationships with public sector clients, and ensure the successful delivery of our solutions. What you get to do in this role:
- Inspire and lead a team of direct leaders and an indirect team of 26 professionals, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow's strategic goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the public sector in the UKI, focusing on growth, customer satisfaction, and market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key public sector stakeholders, including government agencies, local authorities, and other public sector organizations.
- Drive the adoption of ServiceNow's solutions within the public sector, demonstrating the value and impact of our technology on improving public services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Represent ServiceNow at industry events, conferences, and meetings, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership in the public sector.
Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry. - Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the public sector
- Strong track record of managing and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent understanding of the public sector landscape in the UKI, including key challenges, opportunities, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
