The successful candidate will report to the Visitor Services Supervisor and will deliver against key sales objectives whilst ensuring that visitors receive a positive first impression and a friendly welcome.,

• Provide a friendly and warm welcome to all visitors
• Guide visitors to all facilities on site, including food and retail outlets
• Promote and increase ticket sales to Raby Castle, Park and Walled Gardens
• Promote and provide information about all current and upcoming events
• Engage with Schools and Group visits, providing any literature required
• Process ticket sales and validations

Raby Estate is seeking an enthusiastic Welcome Host to greet all visitors to Raby Castle, Park and Gardens, providing essential information about all facilities, products and events, creating a positive experience for all with a strong focus on increasing ticket sales to Raby Castle and the Walled Gardens. Applicants should have a friendly and outgoing personality as they are the first point of contact to welcome thousands of visitors each year. This is a hands-on outdoor role where you will be expected to work independently and as part of the wider Visitor Services team.,

• An outgoing, helpful and friendly personality
• Confident in engaging with members of the public
• Sales focused and knowledgeable about all aspects of the attraction
• Availability to work weekends is essential
• Flexible attitude with willingness to undertake any task required
Experience of using Epos systems or ticketing software is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
