Ward Clerk - Trauma

This is a busy position on adult Trauma wards (ward E3 Monday and Tuesday, ward C3 Friday) that care for patients pre and post-operatively following surgery for a wide range of injuries. The ward clerk role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the ward., Welcome patients and visitors to the ward, answer appropriate questions and provide relevant information in a sensitive manner, referring to qualified members of the team as necessary.

Undertake clerical and administrative duties on behalf of the ward; liaise with individual team members and other departments as required in a manner that will contribute to the effective and efficient running of the ward.
