Full Job Description
We are looking for an inspiring individual to join our team at The Lewes Intermediate Care Service as a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse Band 6. Lewes Intermediate Care is a 26 bedded unit. The unit is very friendly and welcoming with a great multidisciplinary team who work together with patients and their relatives/carers to support rehabilitations and safe discharges to the most appropriate location for them. Please note that the unit runs a 24 hour service so internal rotation is required. The role of the ward sister/charge nurse is varied and a great development opportunity within a stand alone unit. You will support the Ward Manager with staff management, incident management, patient flow and roster management. You will provide clinical expertise and visible leadership whilst helping to create a positive patient experience. We welcome applications from already experienced Band 6's or experienced Band 5's seeking development. We are the main provider of NHS community services across East and West Sussex.
