Magdalen College School, Oxford, founded by William Waynflete in 1480 is one of the country's leading independent schools. Each year we employ a small number of graduates, doctoral and post-doctoral researchers in a part time (typically between half a day and one day per week) capacity to provide up-to-date, scholarly and expert knowledge as part of our academic enrichment programme. The salary for Waynflete Academics is £24,255 pro-rata per annum (full-time equivalent). The precise nature of the roles will be shaped in accordance with departmental needs to fit the strengths of the candidate appointed, with potential responsibilities including assistance with university preparation, supervision of Waynflete Studies Projects (Lower Sixth extended research project), offering enrichment activities for the most able pupils and arranging talks by visiting speakers. A willingness to contribute to the School's extensive partnerships programme is desirable.
