Work Placement Coordinator

We're seeking a Work Placement Coordinator to play a pivotal role in connecting our Health, Care, and Early Years students with enriching vocational experiences. This role is 25 hours per week, term-time only, offering a great work-life balance. You'll work closely with academic staff to:

• Arrange and manage work placements tailored to students' course requirements.
• Monitor student progress, ensuring a positive and productive placement experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers, creating lasting partnerships.
• Organise internal work experience opportunities within the College.
• Carry out workplace assessments and observations of learners.
• Ensure all necessary Health and Safety checks and consent forms are completed before placements.
• Report on attendance, punctuality, and behaviour of students during placements.

• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
• Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks effectively.

• A motivated, proactive attitude towards working with children and vulnerable adults.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support and inspire our students.
