Full Job Description

This is an exciting new development support role with the WT&E Workforce Training and Education directorate which encompasses the requirement for the NHS to have a sufficient and inclusive workforce with the knowledge, skills, values and behaviours to deliver compassionate high-quality health and care to the people it serves. The post holder will support activities within a team who is responsible for supporting system-wide development and improving capability across the healthcare system in relation to increasing supply, workforce assurance and provision of HR and OD advice and guidance., The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff internal and external to the organization. The post is responsible for providing professional expertise to the outcome of the business processes for the team. The post holder will define current processes, facilitate discussions, and advise colleagues as to how best practice might be adopted in the definition of future processes, document those processes as they are agreed and oversee their delivery. The postholder will also be responsible for supporting ad hoc projects and initiatives as they arise at the direction of the Head of Workforce Assurance, HR & OD., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
