Full Job Description
The Workshop Engineer will be responsible for the servicing and repair of Dawsongroup environmental municipal civil Limiteds (DGEMC) hire fleet equipment. As the Workshop Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Fault diagnosis, repair and routine maintenance of sweepers and other company equipment
- Examining sweepers and other company equipment
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT checks, delivering vehicles to MOT test stations
- Assisting the rental operations department, ensuring weekly stock checks of all hire fleet assets not on rent
Qualified Plant, HGV, Mechanical or Fleet Engineer looking for a different direction? Vehicle background, technical experience looking for a rewarding site-based role?, HGV mechanical experience (ideally) - Experience dealing with hydraulic systems
- Basic electrics knowledge
