Workshop and Yard assistant - Enfield

Sapphire Vehicle Services Limited is a commercial vehicle fleet management company, offering a comprehensive range of support services to new and existing clients. With 21 depots across the UK, Sapphire provides expert assistance to a wide variety of industries, ensuring the smooth operation of their commercial vehicles. Currently, we are looking for a Workshop/Yard Assistant to join our team. As a Workshop Assistant, you will be:

• Assisting with the general upkeep and cleanliness of the workshop and VMU yard areas.
• Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers for MOT and Brake Tests.
• Steam cleaning vehicles and trailers in preparation for MOT.
• Carrying out minor repairs and site maintenance as required.
• Supporting workshop staff to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assisting with parts collection and driving pick-ups as necessary.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
  
  A current clean driving licence.
• A methodical approach with a strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge and understanding of a workshop environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• A calm and even temperament, with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Counterbalance Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
  
  Salary: £14 per hour
