Full Job Description

+ Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that cater to the needs of students with various learning disabilities within the SEND unit.
+ Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
+ Assess students’ abilities, monitor their progress, and adapt lessons to meet their individual needs.
+ Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and specialists to develop individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
+ Implement behavioural management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
+ Utilise specialised instructional strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.<

+ Experience: Essential experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN)
We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team in a mainstream school setting, specifically within the SEND Unit in Burnley. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs., + Proven experience as a SEND Teacher or similar role.
+ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
+ Strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with special educational needs.
+ Ability to create and adapt learning materials to suit individual needs.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Patience, creativity, and dedication to student development.
+ Relevant teaching qualification and SEN certification.
