The governors of Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Class Teacher to teach Year 5 who make up half of our mixed age Year 5 and 6 class, and work as part of our hardworking, dedicated team.


Our school is set in the small rural village of Parbold in West Lancashire. We are well known locally for being a very friendly, inclusive school and are keen to maintain this reputation. As we are a small school, our staff are acutely aware of each child's strengths, talents and needs. We are recognised in the local authority as a high performing school; in both our recent Ofsted and Archdiocesan inspections, we were graded outstanding. Essential Qualifications

  • Experience of delivering a high quality, well planned primary curriculum

  • Knowledge of statutory frameworks, curriculum, current policy and procedures

  • Show a commitment to working with parents, colleagues and governors in a collaborative and mutually supportive way

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
