Full Job Description
You will work alongside the Leaving Care Team, the Regeneration Team and a range of Hull City Council service areas, including partner organisations. You will work directly with young people and take an active role in supporting their personal development and journey towards employment.
You will take an active role in supporting young People to identify and make plans for their futures through Room 42s program of support.

Achieving goals
Developing CVs
Supporting Applications
Interview skills
Job Searches, You will also support Drop-In sessions, Positive activities and Chair meetings. You will help at Care Leaver Forums and support the young people's voice and influence group - Action4Us. You will represent young people's voices locally and nationally through the Young Peoples Benchmarking Forum.
We are looking for two highly motivated and passionate individuals with care experience to join our team and help us in our work with young people leaving local authority care. Working at Room 42, our Care Leavers Hub, you will be involved in a range of activities, projects, groups & programs designed to support young people to realise their potential and build positive futures., You must be a good communicator and able to engage young people who may have faced lots of challenges.
You must have a good knowledge of the challenges and issues faced by care leavers and how this can affect their lives. You will be understanding and compassionate regarding the issues young people can, will and do face, and be committed to supporting young people through the transition to Adulthood., Disability Confident
