Full Job Description

Our Construction and Building Services department is home to a diverse and experienced team of teaching and support staff who are passionate about delivering high-quality vocational education and work collaboratively to ensure students develop the skills and knowledge needed for success in their chosen trades.

Roles and Day-to-Day Work

Each department consists of lecturers and technicians who work together to deliver engaging, hands-on training tailored to industry standards. Staff members are responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining links with employers to enhance apprenticeship and work placement opportunities. The day-to-day work involves a mix of classroom teaching, practical workshop sessions, and pastoral support to ensure learners are fully prepared for careers in their trade.

Locations and Flexibility

Work will be based across our Cheltenham, Gloucester and FOD campuses, with no current hybrid working option. However, there may be some flexibility depending on the role, particularly for part-time or specialist positions.

Specific Requirements

Some roles may require industry qualifications or teaching experience, but we also welcome applications from industry professionals looking to transition into teaching.
A willingness to engage in CPD and training to achieve teaching qualifications if not already held.

We're looking for enthusiastic professionals who are keen to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of tradespeople. If you're passionate about your trade and want to make a difference in vocational education, we'd love to hear from you!
