Full Job Description

Would you like the opportunity to work as part of a team of highly experienced and ambitious colleagues?

We invite you to join a department focused on delivering a Mathematics curriculum which provides opportunities for learners of all abilities to succeed. As a flexible practitioner, you will teach across a wide ability range while maintaining high expectations for all learners.

The department is dynamic, supportive and successful, with a long history of excellent results. In 2024, almost half of our GCSE results were 9-7, and 92% were at grade 9-4. The popularity of the subject at post-16 is evidenced further by the fact that over 300 students study Mathematics at either A or AS level with courses in Maths, Further Maths and Core Maths. You will teach across the full age range from KS3 to KS5.

We are seeking to recruit a teacher to join our highly successful department from September 2025. Applications are welcome from Early Career and experienced teachers who have high standards, commitment and passion for the subject. As a collaborative department with a real team ethos, we are seeking someone who will both add to the team and be open to support and regular feedback.

Graveney is an extremely popular and successful 11-18 school situated in South West London, SW17 with the benefit of being situated in beautiful campus-style surroundings with excellent facilities and a warm community atmosphere. We have a commitment to providing the best opportunities to all students and to developing the professional skills and career opportunities of our staff within a supportive and collaborative environment.
