Full Job Description
We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a leading supplier in the hospitality industry. Are you highly organised, proactive, and looking for an opportunity to grow in procurement?
We're looking for a Procurement Executive to play a key role in managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and stock flow, ensuring everything runs smoothly from order to warehouse.
As a Procurement Executive, you will work closely with suppliers to ensure orders are placed, shipped on time, and correctly updated in our system. This is an admin-driven role requiring excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You'll be responsible for keeping internal teams informed about incoming stock, managing supplier issues, and supporting overall procurement processes
Responsibilities:
+ Raising and processing purchase orders (POs) for stocked and non-stocked goods.
+ Ensuring accurate due dates and updating internal systems so all teams know when stock is arriving.
+ Communicating with suppliers regarding late orders and escalating issues when necessary.
+ Signing off supplier invoices and resolving discrepancies.
+ Alerting the warehouse about incoming stock and new product codes.
+ Working with the import team to ensure smooth shipment flow.
+ Running reports and analysing data to improve procurement efficiencies.
+ Taking ownership of stock reconciliation and working on process improvements.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following
+ Experience in procurement, data management, or supply chain (doesn't need to be extensive - understanding of processes is key!).
+ Excel skills - comfortable working with data and reports.
+ Proactive and confident - happy to voice ideas and push for improvements.
+ Strong communicator - able to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
+ Detail-oriented - ability to spot errors and ensure accurate updates.
+ A team player with a problem-solving mindset.
+ A competitive salary based on experience and skills.
+ A collaborative, supportive, and friendly team environment.
+ Opportunities for professional development and growth.
+ Full-time role with working hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a finish at 4:30 PM on Fridays.
+ 2 days per week in the office, with flexibility depending on business needs.
