As a SEND Case Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people by ensuring their educational, health, and care needs are thoroughly assessed and met with tailored provisions. This is your opportunity to contribute meaningfully, helping to identify and address special educational needs in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice. What You'll Do:
- Coordinate the statutory assessment process to ensure accurate identification of needs and effective support.
- Collaborate with professionals from education, health, and social care to gather and interpret assessment advice.
- Use a person-centred approach, ensuring the voices of children, young people, and their families are integral to decision-making.
- Draft and maintain high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), keeping them up-to-date and compliant with statutory guidelines.
- Facilitate reviews and work closely with educational providers to ensure provisions meet evolving needs.
