The Associate Divisional Director will support the Divisional Director in delivering their divisional objectives and supporting the services within their Division. A key focus will be achievement against the Operational standards and targets. alongside the delivery of activity agreements with Commissioners. It will also include achievement against a range of internally developed objectives and priorities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Associate Divisional Director with exceptional leadership skills, to lead and develop Theatres, Anaesthetics & Critical Care within the Division of Surgery. We are looking for a dedicated and visionary individual to take up this role who will lead on both the Directorate and operational performance for the Division. The post holder will be a key member of the Divisional Management Team, and will work closely with the Director , Associate Medical Director and Divisional Nurse Director in order to develop the strategic direction of surgical services. Demonstrable networking and negotiating skills and the ability to quickly build and maintain effective productive relationships is key to this role. Candidates must be a team player with significant experience of working in an acute setting, proven management skills, and experience in leading complex services and teams. The post holder will be responsible for leading, challenging, changing and driving forward continuous quality improvement.
