Sessional Tutors

  • Hourly Rate: £24.40 for delivery
  • Hourly Rate: £18.56 for IQA
  • Working Pattern: Variable Hours as and when required, including weekends. Fixed term until 31 July 2025.
  • Location: Wentworth Castle, Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Tutor Positions

  • Tutor - Counselling
    £15,022 - £16,349 per annum
    0.5 FTE - Average of 18 hours per week, part time, permanent
    Delivery during the week and on open weekends across the year. Course delivery includes one weekend per month.
  • Tutor - Digital
    £30,045 - £32,698
    Full Time, Permanent
    Delivery during the week and on open weekends across the year
  • Tutor - Health & Social Care
    £30,045 - £32,698
    Full Time, Permanent
    Delivery during the week and on open weekends across the year
  • Tutor - Peer Mentoring and Coaching
    £24,036 - £26,158 per annum
    0.8 FTE, 28.8 hours on average per week

Northern College, the only adult residential college in Yorkshire, is in a unique position to be able to offer the essential skills adults need and employers want. Our mission is to inspire positive change through adult education. Working closely with our community, voluntary and employer partners we will provide outstanding teaching and learning on our campus based in the grade 1 listed Wentworth Castle. Surrounded by 500 acres of National Trust gardens and parkland we are in a fantastic location to support our adult learners to achieve their potential.
