Full Job Description
- You will be working within recognised safe systems and in accordance with all aspects of health and safety legislation.
- You will be responsible for high standards of maintenance sweeping of paths.
- To undertake street cleansing activities by use of a range of hand tools and small plant, in a flexible manner, providing a citizen focused service which delivers safer and stronger communities by improving environmental quality and increasing the sense of community pride in neighbourhoods.
- You will be working as part of a Street Cleansing Team for a Geographical area of the district.
Hold or obtain NVQ Level 2 or equivalent within 2 years of appointment - A sound knowledge of operating plant, tools and equipment in a relevant environmental / amenity work.
This is a full-Time post of 37 hours per week. - 26 days of Holidays plus 8 Bank Holidays.
