Teacher of Computer Science and BTEC IT Do you have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Computer Science and BTEC IT, with an equal desire to empower pupils to exceed expectations? If so, we would love to hear from you. This post would suit an experienced talented classroom practitioner with the ability to teach BTEC IT and Computer Science to Years 17 and 13. The ability to teach GCSE and A Level is preferred The Teacher of Computer Science and BTEC IT will be committed to supporting pupils to achieve high standards, hold a strong work ethic and a well-developed understanding of inclusive community values. You should possess the dedication and determination to further develop interest in your subject and innovate to inspire all pupils, regardless of ability. You will be passionate about teaching high calibre pupils up to and including Oxbridge entrance level. Our Teacher of Computer Science and BTEC IT will be someone who:

  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge.
  • Has an ability to teach BTEC IT
  • Has the ability to teach GCSE and A Level Computer Science, this is preferable.
  • Will engender an atmosphere within lessons which is conducive to active learning and encourage pupils to learn collaboratively.
  • Will inspire and motivate pupils to strive for the best.
  • Will be committed to their own professional development.
  • Will embrace our Benedictine Catholic ethos.
  • The Teacher of Computer Science and BTEC IT is permanent full-time position ideally commencing September 2025. Our latest ISI inspection report states that the quality of pupils academic and other achievements is good and they are enthusiastic and highly-motivated learners, able to work independently. As a boarding School, all our Teachers engage fully in co-curricular activities, become a tutor and the boarding life of the School. We can offer our Teacher of Computer Science and BTEC IT :
