Full Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We're looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Administrator and Exams Officer join our fantastic team! What you'll be doing:

  • Examination Management: Understand and comply with exam regulations, ensure secure handling of exam papers, manage candidate registrations, and address any issues during exams. Also, arrange for the sharing of results and contribute to exam-related policy development.
  • SEND Administration: Support the SENDCO in managing students with SEND, including maintaining records, arranging meetings, assisting with assessments, and preparing reports for EHCP reviews. Ensure that access arrangements for exams are in place and keep relevant records updated.
  • Student Support: Assist with the identification and assessment of students with SEND, coordinate referrals, and support placement reviews. Work with SLT to ensure smooth transitions for new students and assist with Ofsted inspections.
  • General Support: Assist with the business office duties, such as providing information on admissions and supporting reception duties when necessary.

    Experience of working as an administrator in a SEN setting.
  • Experience of working as an Exams officer.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Someone who is resilient and can always enforce strict boundaries and consistency.
