Working as part of our Power Engineering Services team near Birmingham the role provides hands on technical support and manages breakdowns to minimise the impact on production and operations.,

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and or electrical and technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with Uniper Health & Safety systems.
• Provide specialist assistance and support to other members of the PES team.
• Work with external maintenance providers when required.
• Other responsibilities as defined by the PES Operations Manager.
  
  Recognised technical apprenticeship, qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Good mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to self-motivate by displaying drive, energy & commitment.
• Technical experience relevant to the Business Mechanical and or Electrical systems.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging targets.
• Communication & interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships, internally & externally.
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a Team.
• Leads by example to develop the culture of continuous improvement.
• Time management and attention to detail.
• IOSH Managing Safety qualification would be advantageous.
