Summary


Salary: £25,584 - £27,269 FTE (£18,460 - £19,675 pro rata)


8am-2.30pm with 30 minutes unpaid break - 40 weeks per year, 30 hours per week.


The successful candidate must:



  • Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in catering, or a willingness to work towards it.

  • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.

  • Have knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Risk Assessments.

  • Have previous catering/cooking experience in education or volume catering.

  • Be familiar with ordering, budgets, invoice processing, and stock control.

  • Have an awareness of the Governments Healthy Eating Initiative and allergen legislation.

  • Have experience of managing staff.

  • Be familiar with using a Catering Software system.
