Job Overview: This is an exciting permanent opportunity for Senior/Advanced Practitioners looking to step into a managerial role or experienced Team Managers seeking a new challenge. The role involves leading a team of social workers to deliver high-quality services, ensuring compliance with statutory duties, and working within the strategic framework to support vulnerable children and young people across Gloucestershire. As a Team Manager, you will oversee case management, provide supervision, and contribute to the continuous development of service delivery within the team., Lead and manage a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Develop a team plan aligned with Children's Services strategic objectives.
Provide management oversight of all cases with a clear understanding of risks and ensuring statutory duties are met.
Ensure compliance with Children's Services policies, procedures, and best practices.
Quality assure team members' work through observations, reflective supervision, and adherence to GCC's quality assurance framework.
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal colleagues and external partner agencies.
