Full Job Description
You will be involved in carrying out a varied range of arboriculture surveys and producing corresponding reports for a broad client base as well as focus on onsite data collection following the guidance of BS5837:2012 for trees on development sites., + Conduct tree assessments and provide expert advice on arboriculture practices.
+ Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and planning tree management projects.
+ Prepare reports and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
+ Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
+ Maintain a valid driving license to travel to various job sites as required.
+ Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in arboriculture.
A sound level of arboriculture knowledge and experience is therefore essential to enable you to carry out surveys with the minimum of supervision. You will be provided a modern and professional arboriculture service, with a team-based approach to meeting our clients' requirements., + Arboriculture (or closely related) qualification to a minimum of Level 3.
+ Arboricultural: 2 years (required)
+ Be able to demonstrate a good level of arboricultural knowledge - tree identification, pests and diseases, visual tree assessment, tree management, relevant legislation.
+ The ability to carry out arboricultural surveys, including undertaking BS5837 assessments.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
+ A current full UK Driving Licence
Desired (but not essential) Skills:
+ Professional Tree Inspection qualification.
+ Plan production using AutoCAD.
+ Technical grade (or higher) membership of the Arboricultural Association.
Licence/Certification:
+ Professional Tree Inspection Qualification (preferred)
+ Technical grade membership of the Arboriculture Association (preferred)
Willingness to travel: Must be based in the UK and able to travel to one of our offices in Nottingham, Staffordshire, Macclesfield or South Yorkshire. (Note: This role can be Remote or Hybrid as long as you can travel in one of the physical offices when needed.)
