£24,404 - £25,183 FTE

Teaching Assistant Vacancy
- Part-time: up to 22.5 hours per week - flexible hours (days and hours to be agreed at interview)
- Core hours are 8.30am - 3.00pm per day, however flexibility exists for part-time candidates
- 39 weeks per year (term time only)
- Fixed Term Contract ending 31st August 2026
- Salary NJC Grade D SCP 4-6, FTE £24,404 - £25,183
- £12.65 - £13.05 per hour (depending on experience)
- £12,693 - £13,100 Pro-rata for 22.5 hours per week
- To start as early as possible after appointment
- Interview date: w/c 12th May 2025
We are looking to recruit a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our existing team of professionals.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- an ability to work with a range of young people with SEND, including physical impairment
- patience, sensitivity and an understanding of child development and learning
- a strong team working ethos
- good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
- an ability to work in a SEN role to support learning in the classroom and ensure individuals make progress
- effective communication with young people and teachers
