Full Job Description

To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable/assist me in all aspects of daily living including accompanying me to swimming sessions, supporting me with making important telephone calls due to my hearing impairment, and accompanying me to enjoy time with my daughter on days out. I am a wheelchair user so a good level of fitness would be required to push and manoeuvre me safely, you would also need to be able to lift the chair into a car if you are a driver, a driver would be advantageous for this role, but it is not essential, as I can access public transport.

About the employer:
I am a 54-year-old wife and mother. I enjoy going out to the shops, you would be expected to describe and assist me with choosing items I require, watching soaps and I enjoy a trip to the coast in the Summer. I like spend time reading braille or listening to audio books, I also enjoy knitting. My husband, my 20-year-old daughter and I are all severely sight impaired and are currently waiting for a Guide dog to further assist us. We have a small team of PA's who support us as a family. We are a pet Friendly household with 2 cats currently.

At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
