Full Job Description
We're Looking For A : Social Media Coordinator for YouTube to optimize, organize, and manage the day-to-day operations of the Agilent YouTube channel. You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and implementing enhancements for this channel, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives. This role focuses on applying best practices to drive growth with an audience-centric approach. As our new YouTube Coordinator, you will join a high-performing and diverse team of subject matter experts located in different global locations within our dynamic and international social media team. You will work in a supportive environment, learning from top experts and building your career in a setting where collaboration and innovation are key.,
- Collaborate with the Social Media team to utilize user-centric data for reconsidering the channel structure, including playlists, by identifying relevant keywords and search patterns.
- Review video playlists to ensure they are current and structured to serve our audience's needs.
- Assist with quality control of content and implementation of best practices for social media.
- Improve discoverability by recommending how to align content with YouTube's algorithm and optimize videos (titles, descriptions, tags).
- Help increase the amount of content that appeals to YouTube users to further enhance search visibility.
- Partner with the Social Media Team and stakeholders to oversee community engagement, managing questions and conversations.
- Adopt key SEO principles to ensure the content is findable.
- Recommend video structures.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Global Teams and Regions.
As this is a 12-month placement position, you need to be enrolled at a university, preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Science Communication, or Business Studies, and will be returning to that same course upon completion of the internship., Some experience / know-how of YouTube is essential. Experience with YouTube Shorts is desired. - Some knowledge of SEO and SEM basic principles is a plus. Skills and Attributes :
- Passion for marketing with a deep interest and knowledge of social media and YouTube. Enthusiastic about integrating theory with practical application.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in social media marketing and content creation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple deadline-oriented projects, adapt to interruptions, and remain flexible with changing tasks.
- Demonstrates autonomy and teamwork, with excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders at a high level. Educational Background :
- Preferred : Marketing, Digital Marketing, Science Communication, or Business Studies. This role is office-based at our state-of-the-art facility in Harwell (UK) or Mulgrave (Australia). Upon successful completion of the onboarding period, the candidate will have the option to work in a hybrid model, working from home remotely one or two days per week.
