Full Job Description
You will communicate with the ORCRB stores manager and assisting the laboratory manager in organising and distributing of incoming goods to their respective users. You will be responsible for assisting the laboratory manager in the maintenance and servicing of equipment and also ensuring the Health and Safety requirements of the University are met.
We have the opportunity to recruit a highly motivated laboratory technician to join the Jenner Institute at the Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford., To be successful in this role, you will be educated to A-level standard or above in life sciences with experience working in a scientific laboratory environment. You will have excellent organisational skills and experience of stock control and have the flexibility and ability to work co-operatively as part of a team, as well as independently. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and computer competency in Microsoft packages are also required. You will also have the ability to organise your own work load and take initiative as appropriate.
