Full Job Description

- Provide professional leadership in cases and support unqualified workers in their practice.
- Stay abreast of developments in service delivery, best practice, and case law to ensure high standards of service.
- Assess the needs of adults, determine outcomes in partnership with the individual, and promote independence and wellbeing.
- Monitor and review support plans to ensure they meet identified needs.
- Maintain accurate case records and complete required reports within agreed timescales.
- Participate in regular supervisory meetings to ensure effective communication and informed decision-making.
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. - In-depth knowledge of legal frameworks such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Post-qualification experience as a Best Interest Assessor or Approved Mental Health Professional is desirable.
- For this role, the candidate is required to have a full UK driving licence, along with access to a vehicle. Evidence of the driving licence and vehicle insurance with business insurance will be required from the candidate should they be offered this position. Without this documentation the candidate will not be appointable.
- Should you be offered the role, as part of the pre-employment checks an Enhanced DBS will be actioned for you (unless you are on the DBS Update Service).
