This is a boarding school with Flexi Boarding students attending from the local area and a lively community of around 400 Full Boarders, passionately involved in a wide range of after-school and weekend activities and trips. We seek an outstanding individual for this position available in one of our Boarding Houses. This is ideal experience for future teachers or for those who wish to pursue a career related to working with young people. This is a live-in post and could be used as a steppingstone to a PGCE course or other work within a school environment. It is ideal to have had experience working with young people but not a necessity. You will need to support the Head of House in the day to day running of the Boarding House. You will also be involved in our broad and varied co-curricular programme and also our weekend trips programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and flexible individual to join our dedicated and friendly team. We are looking for someone who:
• Is understanding, kind and supportive and with an excellent sense of humour
• Is proactive, energetic and enjoys arranging and leading activities
• Has good organisational skills and a genuine interest in the welfare of students
