Full Job Description
- Conduct structured progress reviews with apprentices to monitor their development, wellbeing, and engagement in their learning journey.
- Embed British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance, into all aspects of progress reviews and learner discussions.
- Promote and reinforce the Prevent agenda by ensuring apprentices understand the risks of radicalisation and extremism and are aware of safeguarding measures.
- Support apprentices in developing key personal and professional skills, including resilience, confidence, employability, and mental wellbeing.
- Work closely with employers and to ensure apprentices receive holistic support and are progressing effectively toward their qualification and career goals.
- Actively engage employers in the progress review process, encouraging their participation in discussions to ensure they are fully aware of apprentice progress and areas for development.
- Encourage and facilitate employer-led support initiatives, such as industry talks, mentoring sessions, and workplace training opportunities, to further enrich apprentices' learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress, concerns, and development plans in compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, or reviewing apprentices or learners in an educational or workplace setting. - Understanding of the Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and its personal development themes.
- Knowledge and experience in embedding British values and Prevent within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with apprentices, employers, and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Passion for personal development, safeguarding, and supporting learners in achieving their full potential.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and EDI principles., Minimum GCSE Grade 4 /C or Equivalent Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification or equivalent, Desirable
- CIAG Level 2+, desirable, Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels
- Adaptable and flexible in approach
- Innovative and creative approach to work
