To provide an efficient and safe operation of processing equipment, whilst checking quality attribute and specification along with complying with Company Food Safety, Health & Safety, Quality and Hygiene requirements i.e., factory dress code and hand washing procedure.,

• Complete prestart checks. (H&S/FS/QA)
• Ensure there is regular communication with the Line/Process Leader and other team members
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the department's kit/equipment
• Complete specification and quality checks as and when required
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to all technical and food safety policies and procedures
• Fault diagnosis and problem solving
• Liaise with the engineering team when required
• Carry out machine changeovers when required
• Conduct line cleaning to required specifications Conduct a thorough handover and takeover during each shift
• Start-up & shut down the line in accordance with procedures
• Train other/new team members when required, (upon achieving the relevant competency)
• Learn other plant and equipment when requested
  
  Good understanding of written & spoken English plus numeracy skills
• Work as part of a team - to join in and help those around you.
• Good planning and organising skills.
• Must be able to drive line efficiencies and control waste.
• Fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team and help others.
• Ability to follow instructions from Line/Process Leader and Section Managers.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible in a variety of tasks, displays a positive attitude.
