We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Asset Building Surveyor in the Asset & Regeneration Team. This post will be based at our Stanley or Gosforth offices and is a permanent full-time position.

About the role

The successful candidate will be focusing on Karbon's market rent portfolio and will have experience in the delivery of capital works programmes, project management, and repairs and maintenance. They will have technical knowledge of building pathology and defects, and an in-depth and current knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice relating to property standards.

About you

We seek an enthusiastic and personable individual with knowledge and experience of the sector, as well as being able to demonstrate strong knowledge relating to building pathology.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all stakeholders, identifying, planning and delivering investment programmes, ensuring value for money and quality is achieved. You will be highly motivated, have good time management with a great attention to detail, be able to work unsupervised, and have a clear strategic focus.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

  • Asset Building Surveyor - permanent role
  • Salary is £41,468 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,260 per annum
  • Location: Stanley or Gosforth
  • Regular travel will be required
  • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
