Full Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Children Community Support Workers to join our team in Ipswich and surrounding areas.
Your role will be to provide support to those under the age of 18 within the community on either a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
Community activities may include; park, zoo, farms, theme parks, swimming and beach trips.
The hours of work will vary but predominantly
be at weekends during term time and Monday to Friday during school holidays.
The shift hours will vary depending on the young person and their individual needs (usually 4 to 8 hour shifts).
It's a varied and flexible role; a challenging yet rewarding position; helping to enhance children's lives by encouraging them to participate in positive activities and in meeting their needs. You will be required to build a trusting relationship and provide emotional support to young people who may have complex needs and present challenging behavior's.

Have previous experience of working with complex needs and challenging behavior's,
Be positive, caring and supportive,
Have good communication skills and and be an excellent listener,
Be committed to providing support in positively changing a young person's life.
Must have Driving Licence and own vehicle with business insurance.

Paying £13 per hour, Mileage is paid at 45p per mile
All activities are paid for.
