Full Job Description

The Role: As an Electrical Project Manager, you will ensure the safe and effective delivery of programme activities to meet safety, quality, time, and budget targets. Your proven project management expertise will enable you to lead with confidence, foster strong relationships, and drive successful project outcomes.,

  • Deliver contract activities safely, on time, and within budget while meeting technical requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans in alignment with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Monitor progress against milestones, deadlines, and budgets, and report to key stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure lessons-learned practices are integrated.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project activities.
  • Build effective working relationships with project team members and stakeholders.

    Proven experience in project management of large-scale, complex projects, ideally in regulated sectors (nuclear experience is preferred).
  • At least 10 year's industry experience.
  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Recognised project management qualification (e.g., APM PMQ, Prince2 Practitioner).
  • Broad understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and contract/budget management.
  • Experience with engineering/construction activities, stakeholder engagement, and CDM regulations.

    As with all roles, accommodation allowance for travelling workers, travel reimbursable or booked centrally and working arrangements negotiable with hiring manager. 9 day fortnight or standard 5 day working week patterns and site attendance negotiable with hiring manager.
