Full Job Description
Why This Role Matters
As a Facilities Helpdesk Apprentice, you'll be the first point of contact for facilities-related queries, ensuring issues are logged, tracked, and resolved efficiently. Your work will help create safe, well-maintained spaces where children and staff can focus on what really matters.
What You'll Do
- Respond to facilities helpdesk tickets, emails, and calls, using the Fresh Desk ticketing system.
- Log, track, and prioritise maintenance and repair requests.
- Coordinate with service providers and contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Assist in scheduling routine maintenance and inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of facilities requests and resolutions.
- Support health and safety compliance by reporting potential hazards.
- Provide guidance to staff on facilities-related policies and procedures.
- Get involved in facilities projects under the guidance of senior team members.

Success in this role means responding to helpdesk requests quickly and efficiently, ensuring maintenance issues are logged and addressed on time. You'll develop strong organisational skills, build positive relationships with colleagues and contractors, and gain valuable experience in facilities management.
